SCHNOODLE PERSONALITY
Schnauzers are known for being loving, gentle, and loyal. They are very social and are well-known to be lap dogs. That personality often comes over into the Schnoodle. Miniature Poodles are more energetic and outgoing. They are also loving and make great watchdogs. Miniature Poodles are ranked one the healthiest breeds in the world, living many times over 16 years of age, and also ranked as the 2nd most intelligent dog breed in the world.
With this combination, the Schnoodle have incredible personalities. They are loving, trusting, intelligent and dependent. They want to be with you and are not a breed that’s known for aggression. They are extremely good with children and are very patient. They seldom bark, and they love to cuddle.
SCHNOODLE MAINTENANCE
Maintenance for a Schnoodle will depend on the exact type of coat that the dog has. The Schnauzer tends to shed more than Poodles, so a Schnoodle will be either low to non-shedding depending on whether it inherited its coat from the Schnauzer side or the Poodle side. For the most part, the Schnoodle will require brushing on a weekly basis in order to ensure the coat remains free from knots and snags. Their coats do tend to tangle rather easily. A Schnoodle with a Poodle coat may need to be brushed more frequently. In addition, the toenails of the Schnoodle will need to be filed or clipped on a regular basis. Several times per year, the coat of the Schnoodle will need to be trimmed.
SCHNOODLE COLORS
Brown’s Babies Schnoodle's colors vary from litter to litter, with our most common colors being Red, Red/white. Occasionally Blenheim, Apricot, Cream, Tri-color, Black & Tan, and Black Schnoodles.

We specialize in breeding F1 Schnoodle puppies. Below, you will find more information on the specifics of each type of Schnoodle.
-
F1 Schnoodle: First-generation (F1) Schnoodles result from crossing a purebred Schnauzer with a purebred mini Poodle or toy Poodle. These F1 Schnoodles are 50% Schnauzer and 50% Poodle.
-
F1b Schnoodle: First Generation Backcross (F1b) Schnoodles take a First Generation (F1) Schnoodle (mentioned above) and cross it back to a mini Poodle or Toy Poodle. We have occasional F1b litters for those with severe allergies who want to ensure their Schnoodle puppy has a non-shedding poodle coat. F1b Schnoodles are 25% Schnauzer and 75% Poodle.
-
Multigenerational Schnoodle: Multigenerational Schnoodles (multigens for short) are puppies in which both the mother and the father are Schnoodles. You can breed F1 Schnoodles to each other (non-related, of course) and get Multigen Schnoodle puppies, sometimes referred to as F2, F1BB, or F2BB Schnoodles.
