Our Poos Parents

Edward and I have specialized in breeding F1, F1b and Multi-generational Cavapoo, Maltipoo and Shihpoo puppies for more than 17 years with our extended family *pictured below :) to produce the most adorable, tail wagging Poos including:

• F1: First Generation (F1) are the resulting of crossing a purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel / Shih Tzu / Maltese with a purebred mini Poodle or toy Poodle. These F1 are 50% Cavalier King Charles Spaniel / Shih Tzu / Maltese and 50% poodle.

• F1b: First Generation Backcross (F1b) take a First Generation (F1) Cavapoo / Shihpoo / Maltipoo (mentioned above) and cross it back to a mini Poodle or Toy Poodle. F1b litters are primarily for those with severe allergies, who want to be sure that their Cavapoo puppy has a non-shedding poodle coat. F1b puppies are 25% Cavalier King Charles Spaniel / Shih Tzu / Maltese and 75% Poodle.

• Multigenerational: Multigenerational (multigens for short) are puppies where both the mother and the father are Cavapoo / Shihpoo / Maltipoo. You can breed F1 parents to each other (non-related of course) and get Multigen puppies, sometimes referred to as F2 or F2BB.
